Twas an ordinary day south of Mexico. The sun came up at its usual time.

Two young lads lacking hearing where dreaming, blissfully. These young lads slept until six, same as every week day. At six, same as always, their dad woke them up. Twas nothing special thought they and rolled over to sleep more. Alas, this was not to be. Again they were shaken and told it was time to do their chores.

At seven was breakfast.

At eight, school began.

Everything appeared normal. But no one knew what would happen.

Classes. Sighs. Moments of inspiration. Recess. All on schedule.

Followed by lunch.

Devotions. Songs followed by a Bible story.

Most of the deaf children leaving for home.

It was Wednesday. Church. Time of prayer.

Still nothing unusual.

Then it happened.

Actually it didn’t, but it could have. The day may seem ordinary to you. But some “ordinary” day, Someone will come. The day you thought was ordinary will become the last of what you thought of as normal. Be ready. That “ordinary” day could be today.
